The Lexus LF-LC concept was first previewed in a series of concept artwork during the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year. Now though, Lexus are showcasing the real deal in the form of the LF-LC Blue Conceptat the 2012 Australian International Motor Show.
Technically, the car is a 2+2 coupe with a hybrid powertrain. The Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive which combines an Atkinson-cycle combustion engine with a high energy battery pack produces a combined output of 500hp.
Styled by American-based Calty design studio, the sports coupe aimed at the premium market being showcased sports many futuristic design cues which Lexus has in fact adopted into some of its production cars. It is finished in an Opal Blue hue said to be inspired by the stone which could be found in the Australian outback.
