BMW has updated the X1 range with the introduction of the BMW X1 sDrive20i.
Under its hood is a two-litre twin turbo petrol engine with twin-scroll turbocharger mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that churns out 184 hp and 270 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h is completed in 7.7 seconds and BMW claims that the X1 sDrive20i returns 6.7 litres per 100 km on a combined cycle.
Being an sDrive model, this variant of the X1 is rear-wheel drive. It features an automatic start/stop system and ECO PRO mode. The interior has been redesigned to give a ‘sports premium’ ambience whereby the upholstery is finished in either beige or black leather.
The X1 sDrive20i is priced at RM238,800 on-the-road without insurance but is inclusive of the BMW Service+Repair Inclusive package.
