The MINI One has been reintroduced by BMW Group Malaysia, following great public response when the car was first launched in last year.
When the MINI One was unveiled in 2011, all 31 units allocated for the Malaysian market were snapped up within a month from its launch. This time, BMW are bringing in 30 limited edition units of the MINI One and Dr.Gerhard Pils, CEO of BMW Group Malaysia, is confident that the new batch will fare as well as the first.
The MINI One is powered by a 1.6-litre lump that delivers 98hp and 150Nm of torque. On a combined cycle, it is claimed to give an average fuel consumption rate of 6.7 litres per 100km with CO2 emissions of 156 grams per km.
Priced at RM143,888, the MINI One is available either in Chili Red or Pepper White. The price stated is on-the-road without insurance where buyers have the option to upgrade to MINI’s TLC package which provides free wear and tear repairs, maintenance and services for 3 years or up to 50,000km, whichever comes first.
