Wearnes Automotive, authorized dealer for Volkswagen vehicles in Malaysia recently held a charity car wash within its premises at Sungai Besi.
The joint initiative with VW Club Malaysia was aimed at generating funds for the upkeeping of the Shelter Home for Children. A total amount of RM9,000 was raised at the end of the day, all of which was presented to the Shelter Home for Children in the form of a cheque.
Speaking of the event, Kevin Teng, dealer principal of Wearnes Automotive said: “We wanted to create a platform where owners and members of our organization could meaningfully participate in and to show our care for the less fortunate in our society. The concept of the Volkswagen Charity Car Wash was an excellent opportunity for us to take an active role in touching the lives of these young children. ”
