No reason to worry over Toyota recall

Toyota Motor Corporation Japan recently made international news after announcing a safety recall due to problems with the steering mechanism and hybrid system water pump in certain models. However, UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd has quelled concerns on local shores, after announcing that only two units of 2nd-generation Toyota Prius sold in Malaysia are involved in the campaign whereby the affected customers will be informed duly. Since 2009, the Prius sold here has been in its 3rd-generation form and thus, remains unaffected.
