BMW Group Malaysia has unveiled the latest vehicle under BMW’s M Division to be sold in Malaysia – the M6 Coupe.
The second-generation M6 houses a 4.4-litre V8 engine with two twin-scroll turbochargers that delivers a massive 560hp and 680Nm of torque. The result? 0-100km/h in just 4.2 seconds with top speed limited at 250km/h.
To keep the weight down, the car’s roof is made from Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP). Its ‘M’ pedigree is hard to miss, given its large air inlets, flared wheel arches, specially designed exterior mirrors and kidney grille, all typical of all BMW vehicles wearing the revered badge.

The theme is carried on inside, with an M-Specific HUD and M Drive buttons on the steering wheel to remind the driver of the car’s abilities. The cabin also comes with BMW ConnectedDrive range of driver assist systems, BMW Apps, BMW Live as well as onboard internet connectivity which is enabled via a Bluetooth enabled personal smart device be it a smartphone or a tablet.
The new M6 coupe goes for RM988,800 on the road without insurance.
