The top of the range 500HP Cayenne Turbo is now eclipsed with the most powerful of all Cayenne, the Turbo S. The twin-turbocharged 4.8L V8 found in the Turbo has been massaged to develop an extra 50HP and 50Nm, making a total of 550HP and 750Nm of torque. Acceleration figure of the big Porsche SUV now stands at 4.3 seconds from 0-100 km/h with a top speed of 282 km/h.
To make sure of the maximum performance, Porsche has equipped the Turbo S standard with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and the Sport Chrono package.
The exterior of the Cayenne Turbo S is distinguished by front air intakes and rear-view mirror trim painted in high-gloss black. Standard 21-inch 911 Turbo II wheels with colored Porsche badges and high-gloss black accents are also exclusive to the Cayenne Turbo S, along with dual twin-tube sport tailpipes.
The model is scheduled to arrive in dealerships by mid 2013 at a starting price of RM442,063.
