This is not a surprise sports car from Ferrari. The road-going vehicle that we are waiting is the F150. This one however, is the new Formula One car. It’s the 59th machine that Ferrari has built to compete in F1, and also the last of the company’s to rely on a high-rev V8 as propulsion. The rules have changed for next year, forcing competitors to use even smaller cylinder counts to race legibly. The new engine on duty will be a turbocharged 1.6L V6.
With its fifty eight previous cars, the Scuderia Ferrari is the only team to have taken part in every year of the championship and holds all the records in terms of titles won (31: 15 Drivers’ and 16 Constructors’,) Grand Prix wins (219,) pole positions (207) and fastest race laps (228.)
