The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was introduced less than three months ago, but that hasn’t stopped the company from banking over a year’s worth of pre-orders.
The company’s drop top has been a huge hit with customers as the order books are filled up through the summer of 2014. This likely means anyone who hasn’t pre-ordered the model will have to face a lengthy wait or pay a heavy premium to get the model earlier.
As a refresher, the Aventador Roadster is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that develops 700 HP (515 kW) and 690 Nm (507 lb-ft) of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and hits a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
