Alfa Romeo has released preliminary technical details for the 4C, along with a photo of the interior.
Scheduled to make its public debut in production form next week in Geneva, the 4C is powered by a new four-cylinder 1,750cc engine producing 240 HP linked to Alfa Romeo’s six-speed TCT twin dry-clutch transmission.
The car is less than four meters long and has a 2.4-meter wheelbase. It’s 1.18 meters tall and 2 meters wide, featuring a carbon fiber monocoque. Alfa Romeo previously mentioned that it would have a weight ratio of less than 4 kg for every HP, helped by the 960 kg of body weight.
The Italian brand has also released a new photo showing the interior cabin of the lightweight 4C, which has been designed to provide “maximum driving satisfaction.” It boasts various carbon fiber elements, bucket seats made from composite material with tasteful ribbed-leather trimming and a simple driver-oriented dashboard.
