Since we’re still on about that F… er, GT 86 thing, we thought we’d share a little more Toyota hilarity, just to prove they’re desperately trying to shake their stodgy image.
On a recent trip to Tokyo, we were confronted with a two-storey high billboard outside near the Shibuya train station with none other than French chap Jean Reno looking rather sullen holding a cheeseburger and dressed as… Doraemon. Lost in Translation much?
Toyota’s new slogan, in Japan at least, which means it’ll never be aired outside of Nihon is “Fun to drive, again” and if enlisting the help of Jean Reno isn’t enough, we don’t know what will make punters change their minds.
