The making of this month's Top Gear mag involved a brief sortie to Tokyo and its environs (the issue is, after all, a celebration of all things Japanese), and we used our time between photoshoots, drives and sake to waddle around the city spotting cars. While we were out there, we met a street photographer who's made a hobby out of snapping random metal, and he delighted in showing us that Tokyo car culture's not all about white-hot JDM mentalism. Click on for a very surprising - and thoroughly discrepant - selection of Japan's expensive street furniture... Photos: kermit71
