Audi A4

Audi has brought the A4 saloon and Avant estate into line with other 3.0 V6 turbodiesel models in its range by fitting the 230bhp version.

Already seen in the A6 and A8, the 3.0 V6 TDi returns 36.7mpg in the A4, which is the same as the less powerful V6 turbodiesel it replaces.

Only available with Quattro four-wheel drive, the 3.9 V6 TDi A4 manages 0-62mph in 6.8 seconds.

The saloon model costs from £27,025 and £28,925 for the Avant estate, and both are on sale now.
