BMW M6

BMW's designers have been hard at work, making a bunch of revisions to their line-up that you'll only spot if you've got your up-to-date copy of BMW Headlamps and Bonnet Creases Through the Ages to hand.

First up, the M6, which gets a new competition package to sharpen its looks. That means a fresh bonnet with 'precision lines' - damn those imprecise lines of the old coupe - along with a shiny new set of alloys and, more excitingly, dropped suspension and a modified diff. It'll cost you two grand over the, erm, stock M6.

If you're looking for something a bit more sedate than the M, there's a sport package available for the rest of the 6-Series range, with stiffened up suspension and that same precision bonnet. Oh, and a sports exhaust for 'enhanced aural pleasure'.

And the M3 has received the same revisions as the rest of the 3-Series range, which means - according to BMW - a bunch of 'rear end enhancements'. We're not even going there. Something about LEDs, apparently.

And that's your bag. Go forth and spot, BMW anoraks.
