They had us worried there for a minute, but we can rest assured that the Caparo T1 is still as stark raving mad as ever.
The flyweight Brit super-dupercar now has more power than before and boasts a new 3.5-litre V8 engine.
Gone is the previous turbocharged 2.4-litre job and in comes the normally aspirated unit that is enough to produce 200bhp per litre, which means the 500kg T1 is good for more than 1,000bhp per tonne.
Suck on that, Bugatti.
The T1 also sticks it to the Veyron with a price tag of a mere £180,000.
No exact launch date, but the T1 will be doing demonstration drives up the hillclimb at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, so get along there to see what all the fuss is about.
