Honda Small Hybrid Sports Car

Clunkily named concept could point to next-gen Insight Top Gear's award for 'Most Unambitiously Named Concept in Show' for Geneva goes to this: the Honda Small Hybrid Sports Car.

Unsurprisingly, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Based on a short platform, it's a front-wheel-drive hybrid powered by Honda's IMA four-cylinder petrol electric hybrid engine - and it could provide a pointer to the styling of the next-generation Insight.

It's another outlandish piece of Japanese design, though. That long, pointed nose morphs into a sharply raked windscreen, which in turn blends into a one-piece glass roof.

Those 20-inch rims are impressively garish, too - although we don't like to think what damage a good ol' British pothole would do to those snug-fitting wheel openings.
