Hyundai always planned on targeting their upcoming Genesis Coupe at the US tuning/drift scene, and now theyâve invited some of the big aftermarket specialists to tweak the car before its official launch later this year.
This is the HKS USA take on the car, which will be shown at this year's SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) show in Las Vegas.
Based on the four-cylinder turbo version (not the 3.8-litre V6), the HKS Genesis gets a HKS GT turbocharger, a new exhaust/intake system, modified ECU and adjustable suspension. The standard car pumps out 212bhp; expect the HKS version to exceed 300bhp.
The tweaked Genesis also features what HKS are calling 'functional ground effects'. As opposed to 'dysfunctional ground effects' we presume. Which sounds scary.

it looks cheap and tacky and i once sat in the original hyundai coupe and counted the amount of materials used in its dashboard. there was cheap plastic but after that nothing else. so buy a bmw z4 or mazda mx5 not rubbish like this

The old one is in need of a bit of work but i think i will fix it again tommorow, wheras the 04 ones going like a clock hasnt missed a beat, both are great off roaders, they are the 4x4 models and are great because they dont sink.
