Hyundai MkIII Coupe

A while back our man Bill Thomas wrote a very short blog, simply asking if the original Hyundai Coupe was finally starting to look cool.

Well, after seeing this updated MkIII Coupe in its limited edition TSIII guise, he might be even more right about the original.

The newbie gets four colour options, a set of 17-inch anthracite wheels, a larger rear wing and quad exhausts to deliver a 'sportier' tone. The interior has been uprated with leather and it also receives iPod connectivity, as well as heated front seats. Just in time for summer.

The springs have been upgraded too, which also makes it lower, yet the power remains the same at 141bhp from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC petrol engine.

It certainly looks better, but is that enough?

I like my black 2006 Tiburon SE with the Tuscani badges better than the newer ones (no chromed plastic badges anywhere on the car, only place it says Hyundai is on the front brake calipers). They dulled the lines of it a bit and it just looks more bland. But it does look better lowered.
