Mid-life revision gives Jag's XJ a new goatee

Jaguar XJ

Jaguar's XJ has gone the way of so many executives staring down the barrel of a mid-life crisis and turned all sporty.

The most noticeable change is the new front bumper, which juts proudly and squarely from below the grill, like a well-manicured goatee.

There's also some wire mesh for the grille, side vents, a rear lip spoiler and some handsome new alloy wheels.

Inside, Jag has freed up a little extra rear legroom for when those tired executives want to stretch out.

In the front, the seats have been completely redesigned to give even greater comfort and all models now come with heated front seats as standard. Air cooling for the front pews is now also an option.

The revised XJ makes its entrance at next week's Geneva motor show and is on sale straight afterwards with prices ranging from £43,540 to £60,150.
