Mitsubishi is set for a busy time at the Geneva motor show with the first sighting in Europe of the Concept-X - which points the way for the Evo X - and the world unveiling of the Concept-EZ MIEV.
The Concept-X, first revealed at last year's Tokyo show, uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, six-speed sequential gearbox and full-time four-wheel drive.
Mitsubishi has stated that this concept is close to what the next Evo performance model will look like.
The Concept-EZ MIEV shows off Mitsubishi's thoughts on the future of electric vehicles.
This concept car uses individual electric motors in each of its four wheels, powered by a lithium-ion battery tucked under the car's floor.
Each electric motor produces 27bhp, giving a total output of 108bhp.
Other features of this concept are drive-by-wire technology and fold-away seats that allow various passenger and luggage options inside the cabin.
