All green for Saab

BioPower ethanol engines available across manufacturer's range

Saab BioPower

Saab has taken on the mantle as our flexible friend as it becomes the first car manufacturer in the UK to offer alternative fuel engines for its entire range.

Every Saab model can now be ordered with a BioPower engine, which allows the car to run on normal unleaded or cleaner, greener bio-ethanol E85.

The best bit is not only do the BioPower engines give the environment a cuddle, they produce more power when running on bio-ethanol.

As with normally powered Saabs, the BioPower models can be ordered with manual or automatic gearboxes.
