Following the news that the Batman-tastic Spada CodaTronca will actually reach the road (no, really. Really. Honest), we've finally got some photos of the production version of the Bruce Wayne's new car of choice.
OK, so it has garnered a few necessary road-going touches - most notably a pair of wing mirrors - but it's still faithful to the concept we saw back in April last year.
Turns out the technical details have remained true to form, too - the first CodaTronca produced, the TS (short for Turismo Sportivo), will be powered by a seven-litre GM-sourced V8 producing 621bhp and 492lb ft of torque.
It's all channeled to the rear wheels through a short-ratio six-speed box, allowing the CodaTronca to hit 62mph in a seriously impressive 3.4 seconds before topping out at 204mph. There's a three-stage traction control system including the ever-entertaining 'off' setting, if you're feeling brave.
Spada also notes that the TS complies with the FIA GT1 regulations, which raises the intriguing possibility of a track battle with the Lamborghini Murcielagos, Aston Martin DBR9s and the rest.
Oh, and one slight mistake - we reported that coachbuilder Aznom would be responsible for building the CodaTronca, but the Italian firm will actually provide a set of 'accessories and luxury items' to complement the car instead. Hats and false moustaches and so forth, we assume.
Still no word on prices, but how can you put a price on looking like a not-very-covert superhero? A pair of Speedos and a shower-curtain cape might be cheaper, mind.
