F430’s raw tuner
Tuning firms have a habit of ruining things. Everything they touch turns to bling or fake carbon fibre and while chavs shout a collective whoop, we just wince.
Sometimes, though, they make a pretty good fist of things. Check out this tuned F430 from Japanese firm ASI. Racey, eh? It's got the usual stuff - new bumpers, new skirts, fixed wing. But brilliantly, this kit weighs a whole 27kg less than a standard affair. That's almost as much as an entire jockey.
And it's nice to see a little restraint. Usually a tuned nutter car would have alloys the size of wagon wheels, painted pink for full naff effect. We're fans of these black ones, though there will be some 19-inchers available in August.
The kit costs $15,000 and if you fancy going a step further, ASI will eek some more power from the ECU, sort your suspension and throw in a new exhaust too.
That'll keep the chavs happy.

Very nice. It's like I often say, if there's one country that can tune cars properly, it's Japan. Interesting that they've ventured into Europe - have they run out of their own new cars to tune?

Yay. First... Must say this 430 looks really good.... The japanese are better at everything...Nissan GT-R better than 911 turbo, asi better than hamann(or whatever) etc etc....

Looks good, though I'd leave off the Murcielago aping side inlets (in the style of the Lambo's oil cooler I believe) myself. Probably looks its best in a nice deep red though.

It looks track purposeful and rather angelic with that whiter-than-white paintwork. Not too sure about that rear wing though. Still, it looks pretty sedate compared to some of the OTT monstrosities seen on these pages...

Japan makes good drift cars and asthetic crap for other cars, but if it came down to the ultimate showdown between Japans ASI and Germany's EDO Comp them Edo would kill the japanese any day. And the 911 is aight i love the GT-R but put the GT-R and an Audi S5, which is 10 grand less, i assure you audi will kill

And Ettore Hamman is More asthetics for luxury cars. EDO is real deal right there and if that doesnt float then you can always check out anything VW does. they are the ones behind all of the german cars that could kill the Japs
