Flower power

So that's what the Bentley Conti's been lacking: flowers. And goldness

Modified Conti GT

We thought that Fiero-thing we showed you yesterday was a safe bet for Most Tasteless Car of the Week - hell, the year - but this might just top it.

This is the ASI Tetsu GTR, a Japanese-modified Bentley Conti GT that proves it's not only the Germans who can do Bad Things with Fast Cars.

We're not sure what offends us most about the Tetsu. Is it the awful R8-mimicking rear end with DTM-spec rear wing? Maybe it's the jarring juxtaposition of the carbon-fibre bonnet with flower decals, which is apparently the work of renowned Japanese artist Nakamura Tetsui. Which doesn't make it any more acceptable.

ASI has fettled an extra 250bhp from the Conti's six-litre W12 engine - bringing overall power to a nice round 800bhp - but doesn't specify how. Alchemy and witchcraft, perhaps.

Is it worse than the Fierenzo? Or the Hamann Cayenne? Are your eyes bleeding yet?
