There was a cover thrown over a car on the Aston stand this morning. We thought it was nothing exciting. We thought it was just some new kind of DBS variant.
Oh how wrong we were.
What it's actually got hidden under there is a full-scale model of the million quid bespoke supercar, the One-77.
It's not a real car yet, and it's going nowhere, but it's enough to give us some hints. And hints is all we're getting today, as no more of it is being revealed today other than what you can see in the photos. But hell, we're still pretty twitchy about it.
Scoopy is a word we like. And scoopy is what the One-77 is. Very. With huge wheels. And mad front light shapes.
We're told that there's a test mule doing the roundabouts near Aston's Gaydon HQ, and that a full real car will be about soon. Very soon.
So for now, the best place for the full gen on the One-77 project is in the new issue of Top Gear magazine.
The one with the One-77 on the cover.
God we're good.
