Audi A5 news - Coupe scoop - 2007

Pictures of Audi's new A5 coupe have been leaked ahead if its intended Geneva unveiling at the beginning of March.

Audi is keeping a diplomatic silence at present, but it looks like the images have made their way on to the web from the brochure that will accompany the car's debut.

First impressions reveal the A5 to be conservatively styled with plenty of familiar Audi cues. Expect a six-speed 'box with the option of auto, manual or Audi's S-Tronic transmission.

There have also been some details leaked on to the internet of a potential S5 version, using the same 4.2-litre V8 with 420bhp as the S4. This car would make its debut at the New York motor show in mid-April.

The A5 coupe is due to go on sale this summer, and we'll see it for the first time in the flesh at Geneva. Unless it appears somewhere else first.
