If the Audi R8 is a touch sedate for your tastes and you can't be bothered to wait around for the rumoured V10 version - or indeed the production version of the monster V12 diesel - how about a supercharged version courtesy of Novidem?

The forced induction kit pumps up power from a measly 414bhp to 530bhp, with torque jumping from 317lb ft to 405lb ft. That should be good for a 0-60mph time of just under four seconds... yes, more or less exactly the same as the V10-powered Lambo Gallardo. Ahem.

Mercifully, it looks like Novidem has resisted making any of the, erm, traditional aesthetic modifications to the R8.
