This is not, we shall concede, the most adrenaline-filled six minutes of action every committed to celluloid. However, if you want a good close look at the Audi RS5 - Ingolstadt's V8-packing, 444bhp BMW M3 Coupe rival - then it does the job very nicely indeed.
You can read all about the RS5 in our news story, but the video clip confirms a few things. First, that the two-door should, in the right spec, be a proper Q-car: choose a dark colour, paint the front splitter in black, delete a few of the silvery bits of jewellery and you're looking at a seriously stealthy weapon.
Second, it's not bad on the ear, is it? Clearly it's not being given the full Stig treatment, but that V8 sounds mighty promising.
Excited about the RS5? Or is it just too understated? Let us know what you think. And make sure you keep watching until the three-minute mark, when an old friend of ours makes a welcome appearance...

Unedited footage is never as exciting as edted footage. We are spoiled with TopGear. Watching some guy driving a fast car slowly on a cloudy day is not as exciting as the car itself.

Did they use a G-Wiz as camera car? I think it was a stupid idea to show a Quattro. No matter how good looking the RS5 is, the Quattro tops it. What a gorgeous car.

What a waste of 6 minutes of my life. It was so boring that it actually put me of Audi it-self because they just showed the same thing over and over again. All they did was show the front of the RS5 for 6 minutes. If they put some music on or just showed the car from much more angles it would have been so much better.
