Audi TT news - May the downforce be with you... - 2008

Now there's something we haven't seen for a long time. Look - just under the windscreen… a spoiler!

This is the PPI Automotive Design Audi TT, or to be precise the 'PPI PS TT'. It's what happens when Audi tuning specialists PPI get hold of the latest shape TT, throw in a few styling mods and tune the engine. The result is a rather tidy looking machine, with 19-inch wheels, 245bhp and that windscreen spoiler.

PPI call this spoiler 'innovative', but we beg to differ. Remember the Maserati Shamal of 1989? Not one of Marcello Gandini's finest shapes, but it did feature a very similar spoiler…

Strange how it never really caught on…
