This is the Brabus EV12 Black Baron. And those plastic bits over the rear wheels are, we believe, called ‘spats’.
Looks like a bouncer in a skirt, eh?
Brabus is used to making things with bonkers power figures (remember the Bullit?) and this is just the latest. Underneath all the spatish mayhem, the EV12 is based on a Mercedes E-Class.
An E-Class with 788bhp… Thanks to that sort of power, it can touch 230mph and keep going until it carves its own orbit through space.
Only ten of these monsters will be produced, yet at £530,000 each, the marketing bods will have to look hard to find two handfuls of people loony enough to buy them.
Will you be one of them? If not, can you think of a more ridiculous bodykit?

An ugly taxi-cab with 788bhp? No thanks. An E-class does not work as a hot saloon, they are mostly driven by minicabbers or over-65-year-old men in tartan trousers. And the handling in the standard models is poop.

You know it's a real shame that there's so much black plastic (and those wheelcovers are hideous) - if it was all that darker metallic black it'd be at least passable. Not £530k passable obviously but you know what I mean. Have to admire how bonkers it is though - when those Germans get silly, they REALLY get silly. :)

I should have been painted pink. Just as a sort of irony. And should have 'slow moving vehicle' sticker on the bumper. With this sort of power how are they going to stop wheels from spinning everytime you think about puting your foot on throthle.

this car is awful,i mean 788hp is good but when you can't control 500 hp M-B why do you need more 300hp?and price is so HUUUUUUGE , get a koenigsegg or if you want to get 350 km/h with your family,get a Hurricane RS with half that money and get rolls with another half.

A week ago there was a rerun on Dutch tv about the SL65AMG, with Jezza wondering if it was worth its pricetag compared to a normal SL350. He said no, and I believe him. If you have 800hp, public roads are no fun. So go racing instead. And then you really don't want an AMG.

The Veyron is at least a Bugatti. Heritage (even if it is bought), real class, and a benchmark to boot. This is just AMG: lots of plastic, ghetto gangsta bad taste, no significance at all.

I don't like that wheel cover thingy. It's a bit Citroen CX, isn't it? Or, with those aero-lines on it, some silly hybrid, like an original Honda Insight or something. Refereeing to some previous comments from above, I would love to be the drunk designer.
