World’s Greatest Car Scene gets the small scale treatment: watch the trailer
Fact: Bullitt remains the world's greatest car chase.
Yes, we're well aware of the French Connection and The Italian Job and even The Bourne Identity, but ‘Stang + McQueen + San Francisco = Epic.
Now a man has decided to recreate it using slot cars (Scalextrix), and has teased us with a trailer.
Full movie promised sometime in 2011. Fave car chase scene?

But in the finished version will they pass the green VW Beetle 3 times and will the Charger lose 5 hubcaps? ;-)

I can confirm that the green Beetle will be passed many times and that 5 hubcaps will detach from the Charger. Attention to detail is paramount naturally. Don't want to disappoint all the Bullitt fans, of which I am most definitely one.
