Remember the
Caparo T1, the race-car-for-the-road that set the world alight last
year? Well, there’s an even hotter version about to launch called Race
Extreme.
Those mad boffins down at Caparo obviously decided that 575bhp from the
standard T1’s 3.5-litre V8 just wasn’t toasty enough, so have boosted
power up to a scorching 625bhp. That’s good for a 0-60mph time of 2.8
seconds, while the Race Extreme will hit 100mph in 5.8 seconds and top
out at a properly roasting 208mph.
The Race Extreme also gets a fully adjustable suspension system, along
with a new tunable ECU, allowing owners to tweak the settings of the
engine and sequential gearbox to their hearts’ content.
Even better, if you want to stay cool in your T1 – out of the harmful
burning rays of the sun, of course – Caparo has just the answer: a
plexiglass canopy and air conditioning system, yours for a cool
£25,560. More info at this, er, hotlink.
Caparo gets hotter
Race car for the road gets extra 45bhp and plexiglass roof. Scorching stuff

It'll never be as good as proper supercar, like the gumpert it's a race car for the road, but u;d never be able to pull up in casino square with any sort of pride in it!

I'd be happy to be interest in it if they could fix their reliability problems first.

Sorry is that £25,560 for plexiglass canopy and air conditioning system, or for the car, and people say the optional extra's on german cars are overpriced!
