Chevrolet has got in early with its Geneva debutant announcement, giving us a preview of the Captiva SUV that will be launched at the Swiss show on March 1.
The Captiva will come with either five or seven seats in a body that has been designed for European tastes, as revealed on TopGear.com last year.
A new 2.0-litre turbodiesel with 150bhp and 229lb ft of torque is capable of 37.2mpg. A 142bhp 2.0-litre petrol is also on offer.
The Captiva will come with front-wheel drive and an on-demand four-wheel-drive system that sends power to the rear wheels when the going gets slippy.
Prices will be announced when the Captiva makes its debut at Geneva, but expect the car to start around £17,000.
