Caterham has decided to inject its range with a little class and has therefore launched this - the Caterham Roadsport 125 Monaco.
It takes the ‘all-seasons' version of the Caterham seven and trims it in stuff which will instantly bring to mind Monaco. Like the massive ‘Monaco' decal running along the riveted brushed aluminium body, and the red and white Monegasque flag.

The interior trim gets hand-tailored black leather with red highlights which won't fill you with a sense of rising dread as you attempt to navigate into it, but will instead remind you of the roulette wheels in Casino Square.
Sitting underneath this lavish trim is a 1.6-litre Ford engine kicking out 125bhp, which you may think is measly. Remember though, the Caterham Roadsport weighs less than Cheryl Cole's hair extensions, and is thus given a power-to-weight ratio of 227bhp per tonne.

This durable little lump propels the 500kg chassis to 60mph in under six seconds and on to a top speed of 112mph, which in this, feels like warp speed.
It costs £20,995, but if you're quick, the first 20 cars will cost just £19,995. Buy it, and you will instantly transform your underwear-revealing stumbled Caterham exit into a graceful skip onto the pavement. Probably.

It doesn't conjure images of Monaco in any way at all. But it is a belter of a car. I only see fun when I look at cars like this (and the Ariel Atom). These really do make me smile and want to drive around like a hoon!

I agree completely. Any Caterham is alright by me, but calling it Monaco and giving it the appropiate colourscheme is a pointless exercise. Would've looked stunning on an Abarth, but Caterham is too British. How about Brighton instead? : ) No, wait. The Isle of Man special. Thát'd be perfect! I can imagine a three-legged logo on the front and dash.

everything is insane about that car... no it isnt. The power output is rather quite boring no matter in what perspective you put it. A car like this will go rather quicker than a normal road car. But if you buy a car like this, dont you want it to go insanely quiker and be absolut bonkers?!

Now they've made the car look like a tin can... Perfect.
