Chevy Camaro chop-top gets closer
Yes, we've seen it before, but this latest batch of official pictures shows Chevy is moving swiftly towards the production version of America's baddest muscle car: the Camaro Convertible.
Insiders say the Camaro could be on sale by late 2008 and that it will come with a 5.3-litre V8 engine.
A 6.0-litre with 430bhp borrowed from the Corvette is likely to make it into a hot SS version.
Chevy has no plans to bring the Camaro Coupe or Convertible to the UK, but we'll keep working on them.

So now that the Camaro is being sold in the U.S. and most dealerships have a waiting list of about twenty buyers for it, when is this car going to show up on Top Gear? I'd love to see it on the show, as I hear nothing but good reviews from magazines thus far. One of your many fans, Ken
