In this week's celebrity car news, a Ferrari 458 Italia once in the possession of Official Pal of Top Gear, Chris Evans, is up for sale.
It's finished in Vinaccia (Ferrarispeak for aubergine) paint, it has Nero (Italianspeak for black) alcantara seats with Grigio (Italianspeak for grey) stitching and shouty yellow brake calipers. And it's bristling with the sort of niceness that renders you perfectly willing to cut off your manbits in exchange for the keys.
The 4.5-litre V8, for example, will merrily escort you to 62mph in 3.4 seconds and on to 202mph. Then there's the gearbox : a dual-clutch 7-speeder built using F1 tech. And the special E-Diff, traction control and ABS that keeps you on course when you run out of talent. It was Top Gear's Car of the Year for 2009, and rightly so.
And remember too, Chris Evans is a man who has spent his media millions wisely. Mostly on Ferraris, as we found out last year when we paid a quick visit to his garage...
So, the reckoning? £189,950. For a 5,560-mile supercar with a famous name on the V5.
