Remember the cute Citroen DS Inside concept we showed you back in February? The posh little hatch-coupe that's set to spearhead Citroen's drive upmarket?
Well, now we've got a good look at the, er, inside of the Inside. It looks good. It looks suspiciously production-ready - indeed, Citroen insiders have hinted that the concept's interior is 95 per cent similar to that of the production car.
It's certainly a less quirky cabin than that of the Mini - the car the DS will target when it goes on sale next year. Like the Mini, though, expect plenty of ‘individual' customisation options.
We like those two-tone leather seats with watch-strap-style sections, while the wraparound dash is expected to feature on the next-gen C3, also due to arrive early next year.
As expected, it's a far classier offering than any small car we've seen from Citroen before: expect the thick carpeting and glossy trim to feature on other upcoming DS models set to arrive before 2011 including the DS4 and DS5.

Citroen are on a roll... C3 picasso, also an awesome looking thing. I'd take this over a mini any day, they've lost their cool with me... Anyway this is better looking and funky :-D

All great, but there's just one thing that bothers me. As far as I know the DS range will be a posh copy of the standard C range, except that there will be no DS6. Now...the new C5 is great, but a posh version (DS5)...isn't that C6 territory? I think that was called market cannibalism.

I'm not a fan of french cars but this one is very cool. I have to see the car body aswell though. Then I can say it's good.

Looks great. Apparently, the DS5 will be pretty much the Hypnos Concept car from last year, whilst the DS4 is said to be something like that yellow C-Sportlounge concept from a couple of years back. Exciting!

them seats look great but i see a problem on the backrest part of the seats there are two sides that are black and looks as if they hold your back in. i have that feature in my clio and they are a curse i never can get comfortable because they push your arms out full when driving they really should use the fantastic seats from the c5. but apart from that i really hope citroen does well because unlike the appliance manufacturers like kia, hyundai and chevrolet citroen actually make nice cars that are interesting

At last a masculine supermini!!. I want a silver one with the white roof and wing mirrors. I like it better than the Fiat 500 but would still be reluctant to sell my existing car to finance a citroen DS3. I definitely go for looks over performance as running costs are important these days. Hopefully there is a happy medium where you can get good acceleration and good mileage to the gallon.

Starting at around £12,000 I feel it's gonna cost alot to get the inside and exterior looking at it's best, it has a good size boot though. For a car that is basically the size of a mini clubman I'm not sure so many people will want to spend that much on a little car. I'm not a fan of the mini. A bigger version of the DS 3 should be more popular.
