Looking for a reliable family runabout, one careful owner?
Then steer clear of this Mitsubishi Starion up for sale on eBay. Yes, it's the very Starion driven and modified by our very own Jeremy Clarkson in the classic ‘Cheap Coupes That Aren't Porsches' Challenge way back in Series 6, and it's yours for, er, some money.
The owner - who sold the car to Top Gear for the challenge and then, inexplicably, bought it back again afterwards - says the Starion boasts a full MOT and will return mpg figures ‘in the 20s'.
Though restored to road-going condition after its battering in the hands of the Stig, the Starion still features the ‘Clitheroe Carpets' livery, unique aerodynamic rear deck and the signature of Lieutenant Clarkson himself.
So if you want some bona fide Top Gear history on your driveway, we really can't recommend the Starion. Sorry.

Would Mr Clarkson consider part-exing with an RX-7 FC? :P

It was good of the owner to keep the rally-spec turbocharger and improve the cooling system - that was it's downfall. But why does it still have mis-matching wheels?
