Aston Martin has released a funky, down-with-da-kidz promotional video for the Cygnet, its upcoming Toyota iQ-based city car-thing.
And, because the Cygnet will be funky, down-with-da-kidz and promotional, the video features Parkour runners, dashing and flipping through the Aston factory in a bid to reach the Cygnet first.
This pushes the boundaries of credibility a fraction, we fear. As desirable as the Cygnet shall no doubt be, is anyone really going to sprint past a box-fresh DBS to reach one? We fear not.
Anyhow, watch the video and let us know what you think. Obviously you'd never see TopGear stooping so low as to impress the kids by using Parkour in a race....

Isn't that a pretty pointless video because the Cygnet is only going to be sold to existing Aston Martin customers? Can't see many "funky down-with-da-kidz" kidz already owning an Aston.

Whilst I like this new Cygnet, Because it helps Aston Martin reach CO2 targets, this seems a bit desperate. Its like they're saying "Look, these trendy, funky kids like it, so you must too!!" Mines a DB9, thanks.

did you notice they actually showed more of other aston martins than the cygnet which is fine by me to be honest the cygnet is horrible it was only created to reduce the companies average CO2 emissions. Also of all the cars to go for in aston martin range including the DBS they chose the IQ. And J__D you do make a fantastic point they aint selling it to younger owners due to them not owning aston martins so what is the point. If you want to make it look cool just scrap it that will get peoples attention in a good way
