Aston Martin DBS

James Bond is back and driving a new Aston Martin in his next film Casino Royale.

Aston Martin has confirmed that the new model will be called the DBS, reviving a name last used in the 1970s.

The DBS was Bond's Aston of choice for George Lazenby in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

The DBS is expected to be based on the V8 Vantage, and 007's car will come with a host of baddy-beating gadgets.

Dr Ulrich Bez, Aston Martin's chairman, said: "It's great news that Bond will drive an Aston again and we have built him something special to enable him to do his job in style."

The new Bond film is due out in November.
