Kablammo! It’s the facelifted Kia Cee’d!
Saddened by the news that Big Schu won't be racing for Ferrari? Here's something to cheer you up - it's a new Kia Cee'd! Or possibly a C'eed! Or maybe a C'ee'd! We forget!
Admittedly it's not an all-new version of Cee'd, rather a facelift to give Kia's Golf rival a fresher face. Kia describes that new front end as its ‘signature grille' - check out the similiarities with the Soul crossover - but doesn't it look like a last-gen Ford Focus?
As well as a fresh face, revised suspension and a new, redder interior, there's new tech on the Cee'd. The 1.6-litre diesel engine will feature ‘Intelligent Stop and Go' dynamics, which will reduce CO2 emissions to a healthy 110g/km.
There's now a ‘hill-holder' function, and the headlights have got brighter, too. Tell us if this is getting too exciting.
We'll see the new Cee'd in the metal at the Frankfurt show next month before it goes on sale in the UK later in the UK. Prices are yet to be announced, but expect them to remain similar to the current Cee'd. C'eed. ‘C'ee-d? Dammit...

I checked the correct spelling and it's Kia cee'd. Yes, the only capital letter is the K. Non-capital c. Why, I have no idea.

Nope doesn't look like a last-gen focus. Kia's new corporate grill is a bit pooey - still a brilliant car though

it looks worse than the old model and it was still terrible looking. buy a focus even used if the budget is limited, because the focus its a better looking car, more economical and amazingly reliable

I saw an advert for that cheap C'ee'ee'ee-d thing earlier today saying it came with a "7-year guarantee"... I'd find that kind of upsetting. Not only are you unlucky enough to be landed with a crappy Kia, but no matter how many times you crash it and set it on fire just to get rid of it, Kia will give you another one. Meaning that you're stuck with it... for at least 7 years!!! I'm sorry, but I would have to kill myself.

If you look at it for long enough, it looks a bit, A BIT, like a Ford Mondeo. Although that might be the LSD I've just taken.
