Watching endless Nurburgring lap videos is a bit like watching a moth bounce off a lightbulb; a bit monotonous, but something inside wills you to stare incessantly.
Today, we have a Falken Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 as it navigates its first lap around the Green Hell during last month's VLN endurance championship: a race it has to compete in to enter next month's rather eagerly anticipated Nurburgring 24hr race. That famous race where a lovely pair of Astons will be making their racing debut. You know, that lovely pair.

Porsche factory driver Jorg Bergmeister is in the probably quite hot and moist seat, partnering Peter Dumbreck, and will this weekend head back to the Nordschleife to test out Falken's tyre compound for the race. Judging by the righteous amounts of speed applied to some corners, he may need some new slicks...
Now sit back and waste some time watching how it's done.

YES YES YES, this is very COOL ! I have been there in august 2009 with The Le Mans Series...it´s SUPER AWESOME there at the Nùrburgring-Nordschleiffe ! And maybe we see you there at the Famous 24 Heures Le Mans 2011 YEAH ! Burninng Rubber Greetings from Orange Country, Holland` Nicolai
