Contrary to what you may have seen or heard on television or on Internet, Fernando Alonso is not slow.
Yes, his Ferrari may lack the magic currently allowing Vettel to post in his race victories from the comfort of his space palace, but there's no denying the expensively-thumbed, generously forearmed Spaniard has the talent and the stones to cut it.
And here's the double-world champion on his day off, presumably. We've just come across this video of Alonso, in a Ferrari 458, at Ferrari's Fiorano test track. Driving quite quickly.

whats the saying in F1, if you want to win, hire a fin? if anyone wants to win, they should hire Kimi Raikkonen. he and maybe Bruno Senna if anyone big backs him, are the only men who can equal Vettel.

@Showie Alonso with the right car is more than a match for Vettel, lets not forget that he won two driver's championships when Schui was still in his prime.
