Look at the Ferrari 458 Italia gallery
The Ferrari marketing machine is spewing out 458 Italia titbits on a daily basis at the moment. The latest is this video of some bloke called Michael Schumacher talking to us about the car.
Best to ignore the corporate droidspeak – and pretend you never saw his sabretooth necklace or whatever it is – and look behind Schuey to the big screen showing footage of the car.
We know it looks cool, and most of you seem to agree, but the low-down angles and drive-pasts make it look even meaner.
No doubt we’ll hear more from the Maranello chaps soon, so follow us on Twitter for updates.
What do you think Ferrari will give us next? An on-board lap of Fiorano, perhaps? We’d like that…

Well to be fair, they're in no rush to get Luca Badoer to promote it, Massa is in hospital, and Raikonnen couldn't show enthusiasm if his life depended on it!

and yet my dream supercar still remains the Lamborghini Diablo still not matched in sexness yet well maybe the Saleen S7 came close....Top Gear how did you miss that supercar?

@ Klasco. Its american and it's not very brilliant. Bloody hell how I want to see what the top gear boys are going to do with the 458 Italia. All the previous ferrari reviews have been sooo epic.. and now with the best ferrari ever...it's going to be awesome.

Yes, yes, more science and maths. Very impressive Ferrari. I'm sure it will be fantastic to drive and whatever else...but offer me a choice between this and a Maserati GranTurismo S and you know what? Even if the 458 is monumentally better and faster, it wouldn't get a look in in a million years - I'd have the GTS all day long. Class textbooks do not stir the soul..........

I still don't like the shape of the side window, the flanks (look like BMW help there...) and the wheels spikes looks too thin... but I do love the front and this lights. I might need glasses... :)

I wonder what ridiculous metaphor Jezza is going to use to describe the noise of that car. Oh and Ferrari, how about making a car with a steering wheel that does the steering, a gearbox that works in real life, comfortable seats, and pointlessly coloured interior (i.e. NO BLOODY CARBONFIBRE INSIDE). Such was the way back in the day, and to be honest, we didn't really have a problem with it. And frankly, for how much that car is going to cost, I could buy myself an Aston Martin and still have money left over for a holiday. Or multiple holidays. I know what I'd rather do.

Dear God, I know the marketing bods at Maranello consider Schuey to be a great asset to the company but are they going to keep dusting him off and pimping him out every time they launch a new car? More spurious tales of Schumacher-honed handling a la 430 Scud, I wager... We're not stupid, you know.
