Like a kid in a paint shop…

The Ferrari 458 configurator is here. We’ve already visually destroyed about two million quids’ worth of prime Italian supercar

458 configurator

"How would Sir-or-Madam like his-or-her Ferrari 458? May I humbly suggest the powder blue paintwork and a red-on-cream leather interior with green stitching? Oh, and make sure Sir-or-Madam doesn't forget the yellow carpets, off-white steering wheel and black rev counter..."

Yes, the Ferrari 458 Italia configurator has arrived, and we happily confess to being a little bit obsessed.

We're of the opinion that the 430 replacement is the best-looking Ferrari in, well, ages - 355, anyone? - which makes it even more entertaining to royally ruin it with terrifyingly ill-advised colour combinations.

Veering into the realms of tastefulness for a second, we're loving the 458 in non-metallic white, black-as-the-frozen-night black and, controversially, that weird ivory colour from the 1950s.

Head on over to the 458 configurator and spend a happy few minutes/hours creating your best - and worse - 458s. But make sure you come back, or else we'll be all lonely.

Now share it...
