California drivin'

We're getting our sweaty paws on Ferrari's California today. Wooha

Ferrari California

If you’ve been reading the Cupholder blog, you’ll be aware that Tom Ford is driving Ferrari’s new California today. Right now, in fact - and he's just sent us this text message:

'It's VERY good! Very noisy. Bit fat at the back, looks great in dark grey. Drives brilliantly and g'box (7speed dsg) is ace. A real grower. And still has a Ferrari heart despite being largely less likely to bite your arse than the others in the range. It'll oversteer quite neatly, thank you! It's £145k-ish though, and it'll make you think twice about that SL63...'

You heard it here first. You’ll be able to find out more from Tom later on, but it might not be until the morning if he gets on the Prosecco too early.

In the meantime, here's some more about why we're so excited about this one: firstly, Schuey helped make it drive properly and we already know the roof’s pretty darn slick. And we're told the California's already sold out until 2011...

Now share it...
