They say the last thing a heavyweight loses is his punch. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. They say you should cover your mouth when yawning so the devil doesn't crawl in.
Clearly, ‘they' adhere to many a different code of conduct. But whatever: this is a video of a Ferrari 599 GTB going head to head against a Ferrari F40. This is a good video.
We're not really sure why Ferrari decided to produce this video, but do you really need a reason? After all, the 599 GTB is indeed a mighty fine automobile, and the Ferrari F40 is already a legend.

It's got a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 478bhp and 425lb ft of torque, which makes a 0-62mph time of 4.1 seconds quite possible, as well as a top speed of 201mph. Essentially, a carbon-fibre, twin-turbo go-kart. Jeremy really really liked it. Richard did too.
The 599 on the other hand, boasts a 6.0-litre V12 with 612 ponies and 448 torques, hits 62mph in 3.7 seconds and rocks on to a top speed of "over 205mph".

The F40 is still better. Is the prettiest, the one with the most amazing sound, and one of the sexiest thing ever made. And that thing it's still a dream to me, since i was born in 87 :D Sorry for my orrible english.

So it is faster, but it is also uglier and will never be the legend the F40 is and was since it first was presented. An F40 is a true dreamcar, while a 599 might be more obtainable -if you are rich enough- it'll never be the same level of dream even if it is technically a slightly superior car.
