We’re not going to introduce this video in our customarily excessive, ranty fashion.
Instead we simply invite you to watch this three-and-a-half minute promotional clip for the new Ferrari World theme park in Abu Dhabi... and submit your opinions in the comment boxes below. We really, really want to know what you think of this one.
Rumours that Michael Schumacher has been demoted to the back of the queue for the rollercoaster could not be confirmed.
Ferrari World: it’s, er…
…we don’t really know how to describe Ferrari’s new Abu Dhabi theme park. Please help

Shame the rollercoaster is based upon an out of date F430

Pointless, tacky shite. If you want a Ferrari world, gather at least one of just about everything they've ever made, put them in an immaculately lit building so you have have a proper look, then randomly select a few every half an hour or so and fire them up.. maybe even roll them outside and have a few laps of a short and easily viewed track. Get a cinema in there with clips of classic Ferrari performances, and have a special room with the Ferrari/Shell advert ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_kwxzU4wL4 ) playing on a loop at full blast around the clock through a facemelting sound system. get some of the old drivers and mechanics in to give talks about their experiences out on the track. And whatever else happens, ditch all the stupid fairground crap because none of that has anything to do with driving. Oh yeah, and lay some food on, and make sure you can get a decent cuppa.

I don't have anything against it. Sure, some of the attractions are pretty tacky, but it's situated right next to the GP track, meaning families can walk down to the theme park in between sessions to have a bit of fun. All in all, good idea i think.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous endeavors in the history of entertainment. I somehow like Ferraris less now. Could you imagine Porsche doing something this tasteless? What would Enzo say? As for the investors, this is further evidence we are in the midst of a colossal global debt burst.
