Ford Focus RS stops show-goers in their tracks

Ford Focus RS

We've just had a look around the new Focus RS. Couldn't miss it, to be honest.

Its lairy, fluorescent green paint radiates over the London Motor Show from its perch on the Ford stand.

Even a performance from some pop star called Alesha - to announce the Fiesta arrival - couldn't overshadow the green beacon. She did dance nicely, though.

There's a full photoshoot of the new RS in the current issue of Top Gear magazine, but have a look at these anyway. Looks cool, eh? Like a proper fast Ford should.

We'd probably go for a different colour. But whatever, it'll all merge into a blur on the road - 300bhp should see to that.

We're expecting the RS to hit UK roads in early 2009. Are you as excited as we are?
