Freebay: Alfa’s search engine
Children in Need is just a couple of weeks away, so if you haven't pledged anything yet, now's your chance to get your cash out.
Yup, it's Freebay time again and as ever, we've got some decent goodies up for auction. This month, it's a pocket GPS car locator, given to Top Gear by Alfa Romeo at the launch of the MiTo Multiair.
It's a handy little thing if you're the forgetful type. When you park your car, simply hit a button and it will remember your location. Then, when you've wondered off and forgotten where you parked, it will guide you back again like some sort of digital homing pigeon.
Make your way to eBay if you fancy bidding. And remember, it's for the kids!

It would be culture shock for that buggy... I want 1! allready have a matching car (not Mito anyway) Works well outside our 'hood', on strange parkinglot but otherwise its useless, no one is having difficulties spotting Alfa Romeo form parkinglot filled with corollaskodakia's

is this really necessary my nokia n96 combines that feature in a phone so does the iphone. and i live in the countryside so its not really something that i forget is my car when i park it in my own field. it also looks a bit odd to have an alfa romeo key ring for a renault clio wouldnt mind an alfa but im not starting because of a keyring. good idea for charity though

I think I'll pass.. Rather silly to have an Alfa Romeo GPS in a Volkswagen, don't you think? :P
